Makulay.com was conceived out of boredom and excess talent, both of which we have an oversupply of in the Philippines. Our services were originally offered by friends who have something marketable and lots of time to source products.
Makulay was started by a small group of Filipino artists in California offering portraiture services online which explains why our site is named makulay, meaning colorful. Makulay now has a number of shops in its menu including a well-stocked Filipino grocery store. And this is just the beginning, future expansions are on the planning table.
